FR: London #1: Getting Logistics Locked Down!

•September 16, 2010 • Leave a Comment

So, APB and I are in London and we’ve both passed out around 3pm for our Jetlag nap (the nap you take when you get off the 10+ hour plane and fight against the masses to secure a home-base). He wakes me up and it’s 9pm. “Hey, you wanna go out?”

I mull over the answer, but we both know what it’s going to be. “What time is it?”

“9.”

“How much time have I got?”

“They’re downstairs.”

Fuck.

So, I get up, throw on an outfit and thank my lucky stars that I took a shower earlier in the day. I had gone on a bit of a walkabout to see the bits of Picadilly I knew I wouldn’t see while I was out causing evening mayhem and had groomed myself accordingly. This made it extremely easy to throw on a shirt, tie, pants, boots, and jog out the door with JT to meet an Alumni (Hank) and his other German friend (Andrew). Both were extremely nice and had a bit of the “We’ve been following you on the internet for a long time and are finally meeting you” glow to them that I am more familiar with from my rock music days. They were great guys and we went off to get a bit of food before heading to bar #1.

Bar #1 was heaps of fun and we ended up stealing these two English girls that spoke German (Hank and Andrew are German and I speak a little bit). After hours of the ol’ bump n’ grind, they report that they want to go to a gay club and ask if we’d like to go.

Now, I have no problems with gay clubs, as being the only straight guy around some fairly attractive women in a club is very rarely a disadvantage, but they started to realize that we were willing to pretty much do anything (because we’re very adventurous – not, as they supposed, because we were extremely interested in them), and started to play the ol’ hard-to-get. Yuck. APB, Hank, Andrew, Myself, HB1 and HB2 are off to this club called Heaven (yep), and APB and I are holding up light conversation while the others chatter in German.

We stroll around the streets and begin to realize that the girls don’t know where they’re going and, combined with playing hard-to-get, this has made them embarrassed and defensive (read: unpleasant), SO when we hear two extremely cute little American accents walking next to us, we start right in. This is A for Approach. Openers, shmopeners; when you’re in another country and you recognize your home accent, you’re all instantly best friends. Lucky for us, these girls were gorgeous. HBRedhead was a tiny, fiery redhead with absolutely gorgeous red hair to the middle of her back and a casper-the-superhot-redhead complexion dressed in jeans a black long-sleeve T. HBFate was a slightly taller brunette wearing a low-cut, charcoal T with a light gray skirt over black leggings. They were smiley, fun, and very welcoming.

APB and I selected them instantly and got along. Turns out they were both from LA and were studying abroad for Loyola Marymount and they knew my good friend that’s a professor there. The tiniest world! We bantered all the way to the clubs and I probably could’ve closed right there, but we were having so much fun. The B phase is really my favorite place to learn to understand a girl and, when a girl has the ability to keep up with my witticisms, I’m unendingly attracted.

Unfortunately, the other two girls were spiraling down farther into their embarrassed unpleasantness and Hank and Andrew had come back to see what all the laughter and happiness was about and kinda… horned in on the set, confusing targets and generally making it a mess.

I said, “Fuck that” (figuratively) and held fast to my brunette. These guys were very nice, but I wasn’t working (i.e. doing a bootcamp), so I didn’t owe them squat! Haha. I politely deflected interruptions and kept right on discussing our fate together, politely reminding her that this was the only day that existed and that they had to grab it by the horns and squeeze every bit of excitement out of it possible!

When we met them, HBFate and HBRedhead were on their way home for early classes and we wouldn’t allow it. The girls were huge amounts of fun and my specialty is a kind of direct, sexual, live-in-the-moment, no-day-but-today kind of logic and they grabbed right onto it. Class was at 8 for them and we managed to bounce to two or three areas using the ol’ “There may not be a tomorrow! We may lose today and live this as the only day that exists! Our memories are all creations of our minds and this is the only day they have!” I went on and on like a lunatic, but it kept them out long enough to go to this electronic sort of euro dance bar lovingly referred to by HBRedhead as “Lady Gaga’s house”, as a result of the incredible LCD lighting all over the walls. It was about the size of a partybus.

After a great shuffle in the ranks, Andrew had captured the heart of HBRedhead and HBFate and I were all cuddly and cute (owing great success to my quiet, conversational Comfort tactic: “Hey, remember when we were in London and we had first met on the street? Isn’t it funny that we’ve been married for 10 years?”). She would giggle and blush and insist people take pictures of the two of us.  One of which I will include, against my policy of never posting pictures of girls from field reports for two reasons; 1) This FR has no gratuitous sexuality in it and wouldn’t embarrass her in any way and 2) I think the picture is absolutely beautiful. It is a very honest and telling depiction of exactly what was going on right at that very second.

The four of us were all dancing like madmen and having a great time, but we knew the girls were insistent on going home, so I briefed Andrew that we were not going to push for a full close and walk them back to their bus, inviting them out tomorrow night. I had actually tried to number close earlier in the evening but realized that I didn’t have a UK phone and that it would be excruciatingly expensive for me to use my American cell! On top of that, I didn’t have a pen (which is UNHEARD of) so I couldn’t even write down my email for them to add me on Facebook! It was so awkward and I felt a total AFC. She ended up giving her UK number to APB (an hilarious interaction, as neither of them knew their UK numbers and APB was closing this cute Arabic club barker while she desperately tried to bring us in the door of a nearby club) and I have her my American cell (useless) via a hilarious business card my mother had made for me that said my first name (in all capitals) on the front, and my cell on the back. That’s it. Patrick Bateman style.

“Dorsia on a Friday night? How the fuck did you swing that?”
As we left the last club, the four of us separated from the group and, again, the ranks shuffled. Andrew was dragging behind with HBFate and I was talking to HBRedhead in the front while we walked in the general direction of where their bus sorta might be if we were lucky, etc. This, while helping to create great bonds of friendship, wasn’t allowing me to run any game, so I just kind-of accepted it as something I’d continue later as we stuck them on the N14 bus back to So. Kensington, a gentle reminder that control is the essence of success and that when one has it, one relies only on luck.

Things I learned: Logistics (even the most OBVIOUS) must always be considered. I know have a google voice number I can give freely (though, I couldn’t remember it at the time), and use to communicate while on a computer. It was silly of me not to have the number and I’ve fixed that. Also, I’ve written down APB’s UK number (for ALL our benefit). We’ll bring these girls out tonight or this weekend and all possible contingency plans will be prearranged.

Also, this interaction was a brief reminder (something us instructors need once in a while) that just because you didn’t fingerblast a girl on the day doesn’t mean that the set was a failure. I have no doubt that these girls will come out with us tonight or this weekend and that we’ll be fast friends when they get back to LA. These skills are truly amazing and I’m glad every day that I decided to pull the trigger and push myself.

Myself and HBFate having a blast on the street.

Gaming Everyday Life: Floris Of London

•September 16, 2010 • Leave a Comment

The Floris Shop at 89 Jermyn St.

Okay, so we all know I’ve developed this sick James Bond fetish over the past 3 months or so and, now that I’m in London, it’s blossoming into this crazy, nerdy search for anything Bond-related. Just today, I stepped out of Sainesbury’s to be greeted by The Fleming Collection Art Gallery with Diamonds Are Forever throw pillows and books written by godknowswho from Moneypenny’s perspective. I was all-awash with excitement.

Coincidentally, a 10-minute walk from my current hotel is the famed Jermyn Street. My main desire to visit Jermyn St. was because, located at number 89, is the oldest perfumer in London called Floris. In addition to being the oldest perfumer in London (with original fixtures! SUPERCOOL), Floris is the house that produces No. 89, the cologne that Ian Fleming wore and, as a direct result, the fictional character James Bond was known to wear, too. I desperately wanted to get down there to have a whiff of the exact smell James Bond wafted into a room so, after much navigating, I stumbled onto the street (not literally).

If you’re into haberdashery and general manliness of the most refined type, Jermyn Street is a fucking Mecca. Every store had the finest silk handkerchiefs, the most antique Spanish silver cufflinks and the coolest velvet smoking jackets. I even stumbled onto an encased Winston Churchill suit that struck a pretty historic chord in my wandering eye.

Anyhow, Floris wasn’t the first shop I found. The first I spotted was Turnbull & Asser, the shirtmaker I know to have made Daniel Craig’s evening shirt in Casino Royale (nerd alert). After a pleasant stroll through that shop, I continued on to Floris, where I smelled the amazing No. 89 (super nerd alert), and then, at the conclusion of Jermyn Street, was the Swaine, Adeney & Brigg store, the very store that made, AND STILL MAKES, the attaché case Sean Connery uses on the train in From Russia With Love (SUPER SUPER nerd alert). I held it in my hands, aglow with delight, and the three sales associates looked at me with pity, knowing exactly what I was envisioning. The case has been renamed ‘The Bond’ after it’s position in FRWL.

This was an amazing day and I fondly smelled my wrist throughout the remainder of the evening, zapping myself with a Bondian seriousness every time No. 89 graced my olfactory awarenesses.

The next day comes and I am down around Jermyn Street again for another wander and, whether it was the mystical allure of a mahogany institution established in 1730 (unlikely) or a total fanboy urge (likely), I stepped back into the Floris store to, without gilding the lilly, spray that shit on me again (dude, it was $86! I’m not buying that shit).

This is where it gets good:  As I walk in the tiny shop, the tall black girl remembers me from yesterday and I say hello. I decide that if I’m going to come in just to spray this stuff on me, I’m going to have to do a bit of light conversation to keep from looking like a weirdo and, possibly, avoid any further weirdness for the likely event that I will a) keep coming back in and b) keep stealing free samples.

The conversation continues in a casual manner, me discussing the intricacies of the perfumes and colognes themselves and how interested I was to find that the store had been around so long with its (really cool) original fixtures. We chatted about the business of perfume and, since I really wanted to make a connection with the two girls behind the counter, I gently transitioned to my experience in retail, then to their personal lives (where they live, why they’re doing this, what they do on their off time, etc). As they were both in their early 20’s, I knew that they were dying to escape the prim and proper etiquette zone of the high-end retail conversations, so I eased their guards down and we were laughing and joking in between blue-haired customers.

We only talked for 10 minutes, and I went back to browsing and reading about the histories of Floris and the various perfumes (as the shop operates as a museum as well), and one of the girls asked me if I wanted to take some samples with me. I was absolutely delighted.

I told her that would be amazing, as I really did want to take at least No. 89 home with me, but I simply wasn’t going to spend $90 on it this time around. She laughed and expressed complete sympathy, telling me she doesn’t even wear the stuff, and bent down behind the counter. I walked back over and watched as she took a small bag (relatively) and absolutely stuffed it with perfume samples. She asked me if I was interested in the men’s or women’s and I told her I’d like to bring some home for my mom and dad (halftruth, my dad wouldn’t give a crap, but it’s better than saying “I’d like to bring some home for my mom and hoard all the men’s stuff until my next trip”). She then proceeded to take EVERY SAMPLE OF EVERY PERFUME IN THE PLACE, PUT IT INTO A, NOW QUITE HEAVY, BAG. AND TIE IT WITH A GOLD RIBBON.
”Oh, you don’t have to do that!” I said, laughing.

“I simply cahhhn’t let a bag leave the store if it’s not perfect!” She laughed her little British laugh and then looked me in the eye with the look that made sense of the 3lb bag of probably $200 worth of perfume I was leaving with. I had inadvertently made this woman quite attracted to me.

As a woman is wont to do, she slid the bag over to me and stood there, expectantly, telling me “They tell us not to give out the samples freely, but almost no one asks, so this’ll do you quite well for a while.”

I took the bait and told her that she was extremely generous and that I didn’t know how I could repay her. Oh, yes I did. Turns out we were going out quite a bit this weekend and that she ought to come out and have a drink on me. Here’s my number, do shoot me a text if you’re free. Warm smile. Exit. Jump for joy.

Often times, when I know a girl is interested in me and I don’t have any particular desire left or right (she wasn’t particularly attractive. Nice girl, but mousey), I’ll give them the number, knowing women aren’t generally the ones that make the first move, however, they do a) feel validated and b) have the opportunity if they so choose. Of course, if they do follow-up, I’ll keep in touch with them (it never hurts to have girls around), and invite them out with us, but I won’t go to any great lengths on my own.

So, why did I post this?

At the ABCs of Attraction, we teach the idea of Holistic game. This is the all-encompassing lifestyle development focus of Pickup, defined by our slogan “If you want to get the girl of your dreams, you must learn how to become the man of hers.” This is basically saying that you gotta be a good person with good shit in your life if you want to get the good girls. We do teach tactics and techniques, but we also strive to show the benefits of being a good, forward-thinking man with perspective, motivation, and confidence.

This is an opportunity that I was exposed to because of my ability to integrate my most positive and attractive personality-traits into general life. i.e. Even when you’re not trying to game, you’re gaming. This follows the mantra “Beginners think what to say, the average thing how to say it, and experts think about where they’re going to fuck her”. If I hadn’t been as social as I was (even though it was in an effort to not look like a weirdo, which is surprisingly metaphorical), I wouldn’t have had the outcome that I did, and as silly as it seems to be so pleased by two tiny cologne samples, smelling like James Bond when I walk into the club tonight is going to lift my head a little higher, smile a little bit wider, and act with a little bit more mystery.

Thanks for reading all of that!

San Francisco Bootcamp Reviews with Johnny Wolf!

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Hey guys, just got back from coaching my first bootcamp with Johnny Wolf and Showtime in San Francisco! We had a blast and TWO OF OUR STUDENTS GOT LAID ON THE SECOND NIGHT! Holy crap, are we good or what?

I had a great time and was super stoked to finally coach with Johnny and Showtime. Check out students’ reviews:

From Sam, who’s review is titled “Johnny Wolf’s BC: Tough Coaches Who Really Care About You”

“Gareth is a great life coach, not to discount his pick up skills, he is so smooth that women cannot seem to keep their eyes off him when he talks! While we stepped outside for some fresh air on day 1, he opened a 2 set of HB8s outside the venue and winged me so I could practice my conversation skills (we even switched targets while talking, lol!), and ended up double #-closed them. More importantly, Gareth corrected me many times not only in the field, but even in normal interactions with people. I really appreciate it a lot because I’ve never had family member or friend to correct me on those things. He corrected my body language, and how I should carry myself as well as conversations without being too anxious or interruptive. I’ve grown so much from his criticisms and it also shows how he truly cares about me as a person.”

And one more:

“Take the bootcamp. If you found that I’m not telling you the truth, I’ll reimburse you… Yeah right! :)
No seriously, it’s worth it. If money is the problem, think about it this way: how many times have you gone to a club or bought drinks/dinner/gifts for girls and ended up jerking off at home anyway? Some of you might’ve even gone on vacation to europe/south america/asia, secretly fantasizing that you’d meet someone on the trip and get laid. Am I right or am I right? Now, how many thousand dollars have you wasted doing all those and still not got laid?
I rest my case.

– MrSmith”

Another Los Angeles 1-on-1 Review!

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Posted by Achilles:

“A little background on me…I took the bootcamp with JT and Johnny a couple of years ago and had an awesome time! Because of personal issues, I didn’t had the chance to fully embrace my new found knowledge. I am now back and of course, and without hesitation I turn to the best PU company around, ABC’s of Attraction!

Gareth was an excellent instructor. He is very committed and answered all the questions I had. My biggest problem was understanding the structure. Gareth explained them very well and I now have a full grasp of it.

Night 1-We went to Edison. I really liked the venue because it was big, not very loud and a lot of areas to isolate. The first couple of canned openers were “lukewarm”, nothing extraordinary. Not the results I was expecting. We went to get a couple of drinks. Waiting at the bar are HBBlonde and HB Brunette (easily 8 and 9, respectively). Gareth said, “get me a glass of water, I will go to the restroom, make small talk with this 2 hot girls”. I opened them with something simple, I got a one word answer. I wasn’t about to give up. Talked to them again and got positive response. BT spike, DHV, BT Spike, BT Spike…things were looking good. I was particularly impressed with myself that I was applying what I learned (earlier, I was fumbling everything).

I really liked “Kickstart”. It gets the juices flowing plus its pretty simple. One of the 3sets that I did a “kickstart” basically opened us when they saw me seated with Gareth. When we were seated with the 3set, I got to witness Gareth in action and it was priceless! His ability to captivate a crowd is great. He had this girls eating out of the palm of his hands!

Then I went direct with this Asian girl sitting on the bar and it went great! We had a very good conversation. I ran the routines and it went great! Then it was time to go. Gareth said to number close her and I did. Night one a sucess.

Night 2 – We went to Playhouse in Hollywood, the venue was awesome! The first 2 sets were “luke warm”. I went direct on 2 brunettes, it went great. BT spike, DHV, she dunk her finger in her drink and put it in my mouth, BT spike, etc… One of the girls said, “I need to get my purse”. I thought that would be the end of it but I pressed on with the other one and the other girl left us alone for a while. She came back and we continued talking. Then it was time to go to the bathroom. Pleasant goodbyes.

I went direct to a hot blonde by the bar. She was cold and I couldn’t understand her (she was bulgarian). BT spike, kino, talk about her tatoos, BT spike, etc …and she actually opened up. Then I got my first lesson in BLP from Gareth. My BLP was all wrong!

Then I went direct to a hot brunette (with a tall blonde). Both girls were responsive. It turned out it was the blondes birthday. BT Spike, DHV, BT spike,….things are going well. The blonde was digging me and I was focusing my attention on her. I wanted to isolate but there’s 2 of them! That’s the AFC in me talking, don’t know what to do. Set breaks up. JT happened to witness the whole thing and he said “the blonde is showing interest, your big misltake is BLP!” Damn it!

Gareth said “Lets change venues. You had some good interaction, do you wanna number close any of them?”. I said,”Yes, I had good interaction with the blonde birthday girl.” So I went to find her and got her number.

The next venue was much smaller and much crowder. 85% dance floor, 10% , 5% open area. Things didn’t do well for me. My energy was low, had a hard time opening sets. Gareth keep saying “smile, energy, smile”. I tried but it was hard. I opened a mixed set. At one point, the girl said, “why are you still here?” I plowed through then I exited.

Major points of the bootcamp for me:
(1) keep your energy high and smile. Whenever my energy is high, the interaction always goes well.
(2) be aware of your BLP.
(3) improve on storytelling.

Overall, I had an awesome time! I am 1000% better in interaction from the day I started the bootcamp. As an instructor, Gareth is very passionate. He has complete mastery of the materials. Most of all, he breaks it down to a level that can be easily understood and most importantly, can be applied. Gareth, you are awesome!”

Yep, but you are awesome, too!

iGame: From Text To Sex Review!

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

While in Australia, I offered a 4-hour instructional seminar about my iGame: From Text To Sex phone/text/social media/internet skills. For 4, solid hours, I drilled the guys with information, passing on as much as i could in the alotted time. Luckily, Obi One came out of his knowledge coma long enough to share his thoughts with you guys!

“I attended Gareth’s Igame seminar as an add on to the July 2010 Sydney Bootcamp. For a newbie like me it gave me something to work with. The very next day I used it to game a girl I had meet several months ago. She responded well to the structure Gareth had given me. It seems to put the girl into a certain state prior to the actual meeting. It seems to warm the girl up. Unfortunately I realised this only as I was writing the field report afterwards! This girl whom I had only met briefly once before was giving me IOI’s and apportunities which unfortunately I didn’t take advantage or or recognise at the time (eg crossing legs, pushing up skirt high up her leg, hinting that she wanted to go dancing at a club where some friends were having a drink that night). Gees I’m a dope, another one that got away!

Gareth’s Igame, in my opinion, it absolutely essential if you want to go dating/ picking up girls.”

Gareth Jones vs. RSD

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Like before, one of my students that arranged a 1-on-1 had taken a bootcamp prior to mine with a well-known Pickup company, in this case: RSD. Again, he didn’t tell me until the end of the weekend, but he promised to publish a comparison that even I was surprised at! Here’s his review: (I’ve spaced it out for readability)

Alright, this is my honest opinion after having gone through a weekend bootcamp with Ryan from Real Social Dynamics and a weekend bootcamp with Gareth Jones from the ABCs of Attraction.

First off I’d like to say that I spent lot of money trying to get this part of my life handled and through this experience I would like to point you in a direction that would save you money and time. So what really happened? Well last year I took a bootcamp with Ryan from RSD and I have to say that Ryan is dedicated to his job, however something was missing….the way that the bootcamp was set up was not at the personal level I wanted.

I remember saying something about Mystery in the lecture portion of the bootcamp to Ryan and he just totally started slamming me…it was like he took it personal, I mean the guy just did not like Mystery and he took it out on me. I think he did that because his boss Tyler didn’t get along well with Mystery. Whatever the case, I noticed that he was putting himself up all the time while slamming me and putting me down. I just accepted it because I thought this the way a bootcamp was suppose to be and it was all going to come together and work out at the end.

During the field portion of the bootcamp I was constantly told to approach, which was great however my internal state was totally messed up so whatever I did didn’t work!! I mean I was feeling down after the lectures because it was all about how awesome Ryan was and how much of a looser I was. Two days after the bootcamp I was back to my old life without any change!

I thought it was all my fault, but one year later when I decided to take a bootcamp with Gareth Jones, I realized that the instructor and the way the bootcamp was set up made a whole lot of difference! The bootcamp with Gareth was offered at a way lower price than RSD so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

Right from the get go when I met Gareth I knew this bootcamp was different. He was totally cool and open with me. He listened to what I had to say(Ryan did not). I mean Gareth totally got where I was coming from and it was like he was customizing the bootcamp based on my needs. The first day during the lecture my internal state skyrocketed! The steps that were presented were easy to follow and the way it was presented was in a way that made me feel like “I am a cool guy too and I can do it!”

When I went out to the field, everything worked! My internal state was high(I didn’t drink)and I could feel a psychological change, I mean literally happening in me during the weekend! It’s been two weeks right now and I am still doing awesome! I am not trapped by my limiting beliefs any more! I just changed all around, I mean even at work and with the family, I am just ..just..HAPPY!!

This bootcamp with Gareth was worth the investment a hundred times over. I have soo much more to say but it’s 3:30am and I had a wild long night tonight so I need some sleep.

Thank you Gareth for helping me make a permanent change in my life. So in conclusion…Gareth vs. RSD? Gareth wins 100% without the shadow of a doubt!”

AMAZING!

Hour-Long Phone Coaching Review!

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

As well as doing 1-on-1s, group bootcamps, seminars, and appearances at lair meetings, I offer private phone coaching to help you boost your game or, in the case of Peter, to resolve an issue that had been bugging him for a while. This is his review:

“Gareth is the spitting image I project of myself in my head as I walk into the club…cool, confident, experienced man. That same vibe from him came off exactly as I expected during our conversation over the phone.

I called Gareth completely randomly on a time sensitive manner. I remember reading about his phone/text game so I thought why the hell not. Not only was Gareth able to talk to me immediately, he fully solved the problem for me (came up with an elaborate multi-step plan) and gave me some invaluable phone/text tips. We talked about everything from phone/text game to kinky stuff to say while having sex. That’s how down to earth he is. Gareth also responded to my follow-up e-mails and provided support the entire time.

I highly recommend his phone coaching service in the following situations:
–Girls that are on the fence before or after hooking up, not in your social circle and phone/text/facebook message is the only way to reach them.
–If you’re unsure of how to call/text a girl for the first time
–Trying to save a one night stand
–Any other questions you might have game-related

Honestly, having Gareth in your back pocket is like having all the cheat codes to a video game. Thanks again Gareth…it’s been real, hope to see you in person soon”

Comparing Lovesystems’ Braddock with Gareth Jones

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Sometimes, when we set up a bootcamp, the timing or location isn’t right to draw enough people to justify bringing out the whole team. In the case of this bootcamp, Jman was the only one that signed up for a program, so I went out alone and he got 1-on-1 coaching all weekend! Lucky dog.

It also turns out that he had taken a program with Lovesystems before (and didn’t tell me until after, so that he could compare the two companies). This is what he had to say when all was said and done:

Gareth – he is the man! Let me tell you why.

I would say I am good looking, good height, have a decent job, and have interesting life experiences (traveling, bartending, etc). I have dated white women in the past and have had white women tell me how cute looking I am. Nonetheless, I am not dating anyone right now. What is the PROBLEM here?

Gareth saw what my problem is; it is simple: I wasn’t approaching! It wasn’t about my look, about my ethnicity, about my height, race, or anything. It was about ME. I simply wasn’t doing jackshit! I was somehow trapped in this perpetual delusion that I can just sit on my ass and wait for them to come to me, which is complete bullshit. I am glad Gareth woke me up from my dream of self-indulgence.

Gareth took me by my hand and made me understand my weaknesses throughout the entire bootcamp. First night, I was a few hours late. I should have made it there on time, but I was late. Gareth was really patient with me and went through all 1st day materials, and he did some practices with me as well to make sure that my gesture, tonality, and facial expression were appropriate. We went out and experienced some failure, but that was alright. I don’t think I did well at all that night. Gareth told me that I needed to get some sleep and be ready for the next day. I did exactly what he told me.

The next day, we went through some more course materials, and Gareth gave me a new opener to use. The night-out was great. We had a lot of fun and I made some approaches. It was a fun weekend overall. I liked it when he said “you need to trust me because I know what I am doing.” That is exactly what I needed, someone I can totally rely on and learn from. I trusted everything he said, and I learned a LOT from him.

Gareth is really good at pinpointing my weaknesses. He told me to focus on my problems and stop being so analytical about the routines. He also showed me how fun interaction with women can be. “It is not rocket science,” he said, “if a field-tested routine does not work for you, MAKE IT WORK. If it works for others, it will work for you.” He also told me that I should live in the moment and get myself out of my own head. Everything he said was right on point. We did not waste one single minute during our training time together. He was very concise and to-the-point.

Gareth’s teaching was a total revelation for me. Two years ago I took a bootcamp with Love Systems (the Don, Braddock, and da Hunter) but I never had an instructor like Gareth. That particular company’s instructors charged me thousands of dollars and their instructors were flirting with women themselves (one of their instructor even jacked a student’s set…No kidding!). I am soooooo glad I took a bootcamp with the ABCs of Attraction.

Gareth opened my eyes to a whole new different realm. It wasn’t about picking up women. It was about becoming a more interesting person and to exude the excitement and fun that women want from a MAN. It was about becoming more dominant and confident that creates this incredible passive value and character in you that make you become a man. It was about becoming a star in your own world so that people will start to treat you like one. It was an awesome lesson of life. Gareth taught me ALOT in 3 days.

From now on, my task is to bust my ass for a few months. I know I’ll give Gareth a call when I get stuck at some point in the future. But for now, I will have to do my approaches and get burned. When I get burned enough, I will be good enough to do another bootcamp!

Gareth, thanks man!!

Kevin, thanks for being so helpful in setting up this bootcamp for me.

And JT-thanks for sharing your awesome program. The “letters” are all stuck in my head now. Gareth must have repeated them a million times during our training time together.”

Sydney Reviews!

•September 9, 2010 • Leave a Comment

So, I was just in Syndey (my first international ABCs Bootcamp!) and the guys posted some great reviews! I thought I’d throw them up because I’m quite proud of them!

Here’s what Reminisce had to say:

“I would like to start off by saying that I have not been paid for this review. My efforts and time writing this review is simply a way to showcase my gratitude and appreciation for JT and Gareth during the boot camp.

I will also take this opportunity to thank the awesome guys that joined me in attending this Boot camp. The boot camp was awesome and a blast not just because of the coaches but also because of you guys. It was an honour and privilege to have you guys as my wingmen. I wish you guys wherever you are now in the world find love, prosperity and happiness in your lives. I hope that someday our paths will cross again (hint alumni dinner).

I’ll start by saying that both coaches know there stuff, they truly are over qualified to teach us humble mortals the fine arts of seduction.

JT: JT strikes me as a very private and deep person. I genuinely believe he cares about the successes of his students and helping them bring out their full potential. His skills have to be seen to be believed. My initial scepticism was soon replaced with only deep respect and admiration of what this gentlemen has been able to archive in his life. He has a very dominant presence and never once did he give me an impression that there was any situation that he couldn’t handle.

Gareth: What can I say about Mr Jones that he himself has not said already  . He truly is one of the coolest people that I have had the pleasure of meeting. I have seen his magic of the linguistic gab turn unsuspecting hotties into giggling schoolgirls and then into horny vixens. Poor ladies never stood a chance against this sexy beast. He is a very warm and fun loving person, his energy is quite contagious so be warned. If any of you guys every get the chance to hear him speak about his text game I suggest you guys take him up on it. It is mind blowing.

Day 1:
We go over the principles of A & B, body language, BT, Attraction switches, ways to approach etc.

1st Venue: AA was pretty good, opened a couple of sets here and there. One of my sticking points before the BC was that I would only go for the average looking girls had no trouble approaching the gorgeous women tonight. Opened a three set nearby and invited them to our table. Watched in awe as Gareth worked his magic on one of the girls and played fantasy wedding with her and grab her number. Learnt how easily girls would even forget about their guy friend (it was his birthday as well!). Found out I’m pretty good with opening and just fluff talk. Opened some more girls but realized I was vulturing around the club a bit.

Venue 2: Open a girl outside the venue, asked her to help me and one of the guys get into the club. She did and we got into the club free! JT told me to open a girl at the bar so I did she just looked at me and then turned around. I wasn’t too fazed by it to be honest. Started hovering and then saw JT open direct these two euro chicks. Very niceee (borats voice)

Venue 3: Gareth bounced us to another venue, by now I was pretty tired and didn’t really do much but I did open this lone wolf with a opinion opener and got a couple hugs and kisses on the cheek.

Day 2:
C & D principles , direct approaches, kino escalation, Isolation tactics. Too much information to cram. Here is when I regret my half assed attempt at homework preparation for the BC.

Venue: Props to one of the guys for getting a reserved roped off area you the man, you know who you are lol. Struggled with opening tonight, mind made up too many excuses by trying to find the perfect set. Eventually opened a three set, 2 hot sisters and a friend. Had great conversation with one of the sisters but couldn’t escalate and totally forgot about grabbing her number until JT reminded me too. She didn’t….was later told about how I was weirdly slanting while talking to her wtf i never even knew I was doing that. Pretty disappointed with myself tonight.

Day 3:
E & F, logistics, LMR tactics, AMOGING

Venue: Had a blast tonight AA was like 2 for me. Opened a 4 set which soon became a 7 set, managed to isolate one back to our area. Lost count of how many I opened, went direct on a couple of them as well, tall blonde ones I might add. Pull another 2 back to our table. Found my sticking point was not being able to display dominance when the girls were being rude, and also that I couldn’t escalate. Homework preparation guys seriously do it.

Overall guys it was for me an Awesome experience. I learnt a lot, have a game structure in which I can follow, met a cool bunch of guys. For me the hardest thing about the Boot camp was actually putting the deposit. I wrestled alot with my emotions while waiting for the BC to arrive. Admitting that you need help isn’t the easiest thing to do. But for me I have no regrets about the BC, it was a blast and definitely recommend it to you guys who are sitting on the fence about it.”

And an excerpt from my boy a-z:

“On the whole, I have no regrets attending the bootcamp. I not only have no regrets, I am also extremely glad to have met both JT, Gareth and the rest of the bootcamp mates.

I believe this bootcamp has brought my game to a new level. The days ahead will prove this to be true!…”

Additionally, a-z took it upon himself to write me a review specifically! Thanks, C!

“

I think Gareth deserves a bootcamp review.

I met him in the Sydney July Bootcamp and my first impression of him was that he was a very friendly guy…

I thought he and JT was a good combination at that recent bootcamp. While JT was a great instructor and an amazing example to learn from, Gareth would often come in to fill in the details and offer further explanations in and out of field…

He carries a very fun party guy vibe that often lighten up his surroundings. This is sometimes helpful to students who are attending a bootcamp…

Furthermore, he is very approachable when a student comes up to him with any questions…

But make no mistake, like JT, he will not shrink from telling you things that you need to hear… I think this quality is present in most of the ABCs Instructors and coaches.
I think this quality is very important if you are an instructor or a coach because people need to hear the truth about themselves before they can effectively make some changes.

And most of all, he has GAME and he proved it to us on the final night of the bootcamp.

On the whole, he set a great example and did a great job in instructing and coaching us.

Cheers! :)

And Rokulee (who described it as three of the longest and greatest days ever!) :

“Firstly, bootcamps are usually pricey( for a student like me). Getting your money’s worth usually depends on yourself. If you’re willing to do all pre bootcamp homework and preparations and attend the bootcamp with an open mind and a great attitude and follow what the instructors say, you might just find it worth every cent you paid for.

Each day, we would start in the afternoon at a hotel attending lectures about theory, taking notes and doing excercises(such as body language excercises and openers) The amount of information in those lectures that you get is so much and I felt so overwhelmed but this was because they were really trying to give me my moneys worth and fill me with as much knowledge as possible( prob years of their experience) in just 3 short days.

When night came, we would be going in field to put theory into practise. After a long night, we would head back to the hotel in the early morn for a debrief and feedback about our performance along with some constructive criticism. The instructors are not there to be your friends or to show you how good they are. They are there to monitor, give encouragement and feedback and guide us. but as I said earlier, and do not expect them to hold your hand because its all really up to you to make the best of what youve paid so much for.

My experiences:
Day 1
Met other guys who would become my bootcamp mates(You guys know who you are heh) along with J.T and Gareth.
After the lecture, we went out for field practice. Was excited and super nervous at the same time….The first set I open blows me off. Strangely I dont care or feel anything which is great.

Later under J.T’s command, I kick start a tall Brunnete and surprisingly do not get blown of until her friend tells me that the two big white guys seated down and staring at me intently are their bfs..I politely eject but I felt that the set had gone rather well for a newbie. Later at venue 2, I was getting a little frustrated at just vulturing and not opening, so I spot a cute blonde and decide to go balls to the wall and open her, Turns out that shes frm Canada and her reaction was better than expected. In fact she seemed abit flattered that I had came up to talk to her. It was a great feeling for me. Ran out of things to say so I ejected.

Later while seated and talking to some guy I had just met, I randomly said Hi to a girl passing by. The guy I had just met suddenly got interested in her too and soon they were kissing right in front of me and I was like wtf just happened. A little dent on my ego but I just laughed it off. Went to a quieter area of the venue to talk to another bootcamp mate and he managed to get a good interaction going with a random girl passing by so mad props to him :D

Overall, Day 1 had shown me that getting blown off just doesnt matter and anything is possible which really got me prepared and psyched up for Day 2….or so I thought…..

Day 2
A bootcamp mate had managed to get us an area in the Ivy which was super awesome(thanks to that awesome individual ! :) ) However that place seemed super posh to me and all the people there seemed really posh and highclass and hot which really caused my AA to skyrocket.

I rmbr vulturing alot around the dance floor really stressed and even going into the toilet to read my cheatsheet. After that I went back to “home base” and remember Gareth giving me some really good advice about going direct and high energy. I managed to use that to open a 2 set of twins and got one of them to sit down in a compliance test. That fizzed out eventually but I manage to build enough BT on a girl whom J.T had introed to me to get a kiss on the cheek but going for the full k close failed. That night was a really mentally tough on me but I had learnt some really important lessons

Day 3
The best day for me in this bootcamp. We went back to venue 2 of Day 1. It started out with me vulturing abit still feeling some AA after my experiences from last night. Decided open with high energy 2 hot blondes using the kickstart. Got really positive responses and they came by later to look for me.

However she said that i would have to promise to give her some pizza while she goes to get her friend to join us but I told her playfully “not unless you work for it first!”…and her whole attitude did a 360 degree turn and she got insulted and left…

Didnt let that affect me and opened a few more sets with the kick start. Got a number close from an Asian girl after opening her and a friend near our table and tried for a k close with a hot ass brunette I think i got a slight peck on the lips instead before she broke out laughing, guess she was kinda tipsy. Even went super high energy direct “Youre Gorgeous!!!” on this small gorgeous blonde girl on the dance floor in front of her friends and got a really positive result with her really smiling and I talked to her for abit before ejecting as again I had ran out of things to say.

That night, however I was just feeling great as I had hardly any AA however i I really need to work on what happens after the A and B part of the phase..the Cs until the F!

All in all, attending a bootcamp was at times tough mentally but I managed to have fun, met awesome new people and blew away alot of my limiting beliefs. Mad props to J.T and Gareth!! These guys really changed my world view and they sincerely want to help us become better people. I would seriously recommend this bootcamp to people who want to make a change in their lives.”

Misc Reviews!

I’ve posted a lot of reviews from previous programs, but I’m gonna catch up to the present day with some blurbs about the stuff I’ve done. Dig:

“One of the most masterful story tellers I’ve ever met… and if I may be so bold, I’m a well-trained story teller. It only takes him a few seconds to spot the main point of a story. It also blows me away how he knows how to make the most boring story sound interesting! The man also really knows how to tell romantic, sensual, and sexual stories. BTW, on the Sunday night after the bootcamp, I went out with Gareth and our hosts and I got really drunk, and crashed at our host’s place. I work up at 4am to hear some seriously heaving female breathing and the rythmic sound of a couch moving, and left because I could sleep through that. Gareth, you rock!!”

“I think J.T. mounts them and releases and Gareth mind fucks them for juicy oblivion. Just my honest perception. Couldn’t have two better teachers…..Gareth is absolutely steel balls. I met up with him a few weeks ago and he literally closed a UNBELIEVABLE Dallas Cowboys cheerleader quality blond while she was serving us food at Hooters. He would be great coach and mentor for anyone wondering about ABCs of attraction for white guys.”

“He is an encyclopedia of pickup knowledge. Most assistant coaches are average at best but Gareth is up there in quality. He is energetic and excited to help. Gareth has a rocker style and was actually in a band (as opposed to most PUAs who just dress like they’re in one). He is a master of verbal banter and flirting, which I got to see a lot of in class while he was flirting with our awesome female coach Sarah Ann . He has great energy and is very enthusiastic. He also has great fashion advice on a budget and some pretty sick and original phone game tactics. He is very helpful in field with pointers and pushes you to open. He corrects you in field a lot and has a great eye for what your weakness might be. Enthusiasm is the best quality in a coach and Gareth has that in spades.”
